The 23rd of April is St George's Day in England; St George is the patron saint of England and of a few other places as well - see this Wikipedia page for more information about the legendary dragon slayer.

- Bourne River Morris : Saturday April 25th - 11:30 am - 1:00 pm St George’s bash on Poole Quay BH15 1HJ, with several of our local teams. We’ve ordered our usual good weather, keeping our fingers crossed that it stays fair. We’ll be by the Fish Shambles starting between 11:30 and 12:00. We’re usually easy to find.

- The Traditional Ilmington MM : St George's Day - Every year The Ilmington Morris Men celebrate St George’s Day. Again, they return to the village of Lower Brailes, in the evening, to dance at the Church of St George and The George Hotel to be joined by guests; this year - Hereburgh Morris with others to be confirmed. There is a service ‘for all’ commencing at 6.30pm in the Church of St George, a Songs of Praise to celebrate our Patron Saint. The evenings proceedings will commence with dancing at The George Hotel from 7.30 pm with a brief stand at the church around 7.15pm – revelry will continue thereafter at the George Hotel, with our guest dancers, mummers & singers. Red roses to be worn.

- Mayflower Morris Men : Saturday 25th April - 10.30am and 11.15am - will be presenting St George and The Dragon Mummers’ play in Billericay High Street 10.30 am and 11.15 am
- Mersey Morris : Saturday April 25th - 11:00 am – 3:00 pm Liverpool Museum L3 1DG
- Northampton Morris Dancers : St George's Day - The Boat, St Bruerne NN12 7SB, from 7:00 pm as guests of Rose and Castle Morris
- Oxford Folk Weekend : Saturday and Sunday 18th - 19th - Morris and Rapper at multiple locations across the city. The line-up in previous years has included the Ashmolean Museum and the iconic 18th century Radcliffe Camera. Over 30 teams signed up thus far.
