Damien Barber, Artistic Director of the ever popular The Lock In dance extravaganza, has written to say a big thank you note to all the Morris sides displaying at each of their past and upcoming venues. He shouldn't be surprised - few Morris sides would miss an invitiation to a lock in!
I thought I’d write to say a big thanks to The Morris Ring for helping us promote the dance Displays for our February tour. We’ve been totally bowled over by the response and now have 100+ dance groups taking part over the new few weeks with as many as 13 teams displaying at each venue."
The display details are shown below and there is more info on times and locations on our website. It would be great if you could pass on this information to all your members as we’re very keen to get good audiences at the displays even if they don’t come to the show.
