FUNERAL.

The Funeral will be at 1.35pm at Crewe Crematorium, Badger Avenue, Crewe CW1 2NA , just off road B5076 near junction with A532 in Crewe centre

Ordnance Survey map 118. Crewe centre is congested (lots of railway lines!) so watch out for road signs. There should be sufficient parking just inside the western entrance to the crematorium, especially if men can share cars where possible

At 1.25pm men are asked to assemble near the Eastern corner and form a procession, in kit and with bells, to follow the hearse for about 200yds up a slight slope.

The coffin will then be "Called in". After the funeral Stafford Morris Men will dance "Lord of the Dance". (This will also be sung during the funeral).

Seating is very limited and mainly reserved for family members (bring your own if necessary). There is standing room in a covered area where the service will be relayed.
