Clayton Francis, Bagman of East Surrey Morris Men, had just finished Morris dancing at Chipperfield, Hertfordshire when a lady came up to him and said "Can you spare a few moments?"
"Hello! What could she possibly want?" he thought.
It transpired that Denise Marray was a passing writer for the Gulf Times/Khaleej Times (Dubai), and she thought Clayton's Indian origins would make an interesting subject for their readers.
She later rang Clayton and they chatted for a while and lo and behold this flattering article appeared a week or so later.
