MB III; Lionel Bacon's film (1937); RD (Sharp's MSS, Francis Fryer, RKS, ALP & local enquiry). Regular dancing 'till 1914; re-appearance in 1924-27 and for a year or two following the Coronation in 1937. (In 1937 a Mummers' Play was presented in combination with the morris.)

Team(s):

Eynsham Morris reformed after a forty year break in 1979 and still only recruit men from the village and perform only their own tradition, which has now extended to some fifteen dances.  Despite the post-war break of public performances, there was continuity of the tradition during that period, well described on their web pages.
