  Martlet have had a fantastic response for this meeting\, so
  much so that they started a waiting list for clubs wishing to
  attend.\n\n
  Peter Davey\, Festival Director\, Martlet Sword and Morris
  Men\, writes\n\n
  "The sides that accepted are Winchester\, Whitchurch\, Ewell St
  Mary’s\, Ravensbourne\, Men of Wight\, Thames Valley\,
  Westminster\, Ripley\, Trigg\, Great Yorkshire Morris\,
  Wessex\, East Suffolk\, Green Man and Dartington\, with Victory
  attending for the day.\n\n
  I am pleased to inform you all that after talking to the Morris
  RingTreasurer\, Steve Archer\, the Morris Ring is prepared to
  subsidise the meeting enabling us to reduce the cost to £75.00
  per person. With this in ind we are asking for a deposit of
  £25.00 person to be paid by the 31st January. This will
  confirm our numbers and allow others to attend should space be
  available. We then ask for the remaining balance of £50.00 to
  be paid by 30th June\, .\n\n
  Programme for the weekend.\n\n
  Friday: Arrival after 6.30pm\, food available from 8.00pm
  –10.00pm. During the evening there will be informal dancing
  or a visit to the "Wilkes Head" CAMRA regional pub of the year.\n\n
  Saturday: After a hearty breakfast we will board one of three
  buses to tour the local area all tours will visit the South
  Coast during the tour. At 3.30pm all tours will come together
  for a massed display on Chichester Cathedral green. After the
  displays we will make our way back to Westergate School. The
  evening will include the Feast followed by singing and dancing
  as is the norm at a Morris Ring meeting.\n\n
  Sunday: After breakfast the men that wish can attend a Church
  service at St Paul and Peter the Great at 10.00am. We will then
  process to the festival theatre for a massed display at
  11.30am. This will be followed by lunch in a nearby hall. After
  lunch any clubs are not wishing to rush off we may be able to
  arrange an afternoon visit to Langham Brewery.”\n\n
