      We are proud to announce that the Joint Morris
  Organisations' Day of Dance 2025 will be held on Saturday 26th
  April in Stockport.\n\n
  \n\n
  \n\n
      From 10am – 5pm\, visitors will experience a fusion of
  tradition and energy\, with traditional Morris jigs\,
  high-energy folk jam sessions\, impromptu dance-offs and lively
  street performances at key locations including the Underbanks\,
  Merseyway\, Prince’s Street\, Suffragette Square and Market
  Place. Rounding off the day in true folk-style\, there will
  also be an unmissable free Ceilidh at St Mary’s Church\,
  featuring a live folk band\, pop-up craft beer bar and
  delicious street food.\n\n

      Due to a huge amount of interest in the JMO Day of Dance
  (26/4/25\, Stockport) from the media\, we're determined to push
  the event even further!  To this end\, we're reopening
  registrations for a very limited time - if you're not yet
  signed up and would like to take part\, please email jmo2025

      Adlington Morris Men are already hard at work organising
  what's promising to be the biggest and best JMO yet.  The
  local council\, shops and businesses are all pulling together
  to organise a full day and evening of events\, and your side is
  invited to be part of it!  \n\n
  \n\n
  \n\n
      From Morris-themed family craft activities to folky fringe
  events\, the whole of the town centre will be filled with the
  sound of bells throughout the day\, before giving way to
  an absolutely free ceilidh afterparty with live band\, pop-up
  craft beer bar and street food stalls - with ticket priority
  given to you!  \n\n

  \n\n
      With pubs already talking about how they can get involved
  (Morris Ale\, anyone?) and more and more people wanting in on
  the action\, Stockport 2025 is shaping up to be a JMO not to be
  missed.  \n\n
  \n\n
  \n\n
      We're handily located on major railway routes and three
  motorways\, so getting here couldn't be easier.  If you're
  travelling from further afield\, you might want to make a
  weekend of it - we've arranged a number of accommodation
  options\, including hotels at discounted rates\,
  camping/motorhome pitches\, and are offering low-cost indoor
  camping.  You can give us details of your plans when you
  register\, and we'll then be in touch with the relevant
  information.\n\n

      We've also got a few surprises (and more freebies!) up our
  sleeves too.\n\n
