DESCRIPTION:Ripley Morris welcome you to the Joint Morris Organisations
  Regional Day of Dance to celebrate the exemption of “morris
  dancing” from the Licensing Act 2003 to be held in Belper on
  9th September 2023.\n\n
  Situated between Derby and Matlock in the Derwent Valley Mills
  World Heritage Site\, Belper is town of some 20\,000
  inhabitants with excellent public transport connections with
  buses between Derby and Matlock running every 20 minutes and
  hourly trains from Derby.\n\n
  Belper is a town of independent shops and has won the title of
  Best English High Street in 2020.  The town has a wide of
  restaurants\, pubs\, micro breweries\, bars\, cafes and take -
  aways to cater for all tastes including a vegan restaurant. \n\n
  It is anticipated that dancing will take place in various spots
  around the town centre from around 10.30 ish to 4.15pm ish.  
  An informal dance\, songs and tunes session will be arranged in
  the yard of The Railway on King Street after 4.15pm.\n\n
