DESCRIPTION:Saddleworth Morris Men invite yourself and your
  side to attend the Rushcart in 2023\, on Friday 25th
  August to Sunday 27th August (the Bank Holiday weekend). \n\n
  We have a get together on the Friday evening at a local pub and
  Saturday sees attending sides pull the ‘Cart around the
  villages of Saddleworth with many pub stops
  (for well-deserved liquid refreshments!) and\, importantly\,
  the odd bit of dancing throughout the day.\n\n
   On Sunday\, the ‘Cart is pulled up from The Commie at
  about 10.30am to the Church Inn pub
  and Saddleworth Church for the spreading of rushes on the
  church floor.\n\n
  Dancing at arenas outside the Church Inn and Cross Keys pubs
  takes place as well as competitions throughout the afternoon
  (gurning\, worst singer and clog stepping etc.). There is then
  a traditional get together at the Church Inn to finish a
  fantastic weekend.\n\n
  As in previous years\, outdoor camping (£5 per pitch inc
  tents\, caravans/motorhomes) will be available for the
  weekend covering Friday\, Saturday and Sunday evening. \n\n
  Indoor camping.at £5 per person per night is now confirmed at
  the usual venue\, The Lee Street "school" - St Chad Saddleworth
  - Parish Centre\, Station Road\, Uppermill\, Oldham\, OL3 6HQ
  (featuring several Kennet MM).\n\n
