DESCRIPTION:This year\, Mersey Morris are hosting the Unconvention\, and it
  will be based on the Wirral Peninsula\, Cheshire.Our base will
  be at Westbourne Community Centre\, 59 Westbourne Rd\, West
  Kirby\, Wirral\, CH48 4DQ. Friday night there will be supper\,
  bar\, music/dance workshop and singing! Saturday tour will be
  mainly in Chester. AGM and workshop on Sunday. Indoor camping
  as usual\; there is space for a few Motor Homes\, but not
  caravans. Camping is probably available nearby. A list of
  hotels\, B&Bs\, and campsites is available on request.
  Unfortunately\, we have had to increase the price this year to
  £75 pp\; this includes supper\, two breakfasts and feast -
  provision for Saturday/Sunday lunches to be confirmed.\n\n
  Any budding or experienced Fools\, Beasts and Morris Characters
  from any team from the Ring\, Open or Federation\, or
  independent\, are invited to the Unconvention – it is the way
  to become a member of The Illustrious Order of Fools and
  Beasts!\n\n

  By Road\n\n
  The best way to West Kirby is via the M53 that runs up the
  length of the Wirral peninsular.\n\n
  From the south this is usually from the M56\, from the north
  take the Wallasey Tunnel from Liverpool.\n\n
  Leave the M53 at junction 2 signed ‘Hoylake and West
  Kirby’.\n\n
  Follow signs for West Kirby.\n\n
  Once you get on to the A540 at the T-junction at the top of the
  hill\, go down the hill (with a view of the Dee Estuary ahead
  of you!) and take the left turn (after the electric information
  sign) in to Westbourne Road\, sign-posted Westbourne Community
  Centre. The Hall is then the white building 350 yards on the
  left\, with the car park just beyond the hall.\n\n
  By Rail\n\n
  The easiest route by rail is via Liverpool main line station at
  Lime Street. Once you have arrived\, take the Mersey Rail
  Wirral Line to West Kirby (it’s the terminus\, so you
  shouldn’t miss it!). Come out of the station at West Kirby\,
  cross the main road at the pelican crossing\, go left and
  Westbourne Road is the 2nd on the right just past Wetherspoons.
  It is less than a 5 minute walk to the Hall.\n\n
  By Plane\n\n
  Go to Liverpool John Lennon Airport\, then by bus or train to
  Liverpool Lime Street and follow directions above for By Rail.\n\n

  then a 10 minute walk to the Hall on Westbourne Road.\n\n
