DESCRIPTION:This even is postponed due to several factors\, some of which
  many of you will be aware. Our thoughts are with Hartley at
  this difficult time.\n\n

  I would like to take the view though that the event is
  postponed rather than cancelled as I feel it important we
  celebrate the side’s 70th (71st?)\,  see ‘closure’ with
  the Sephton candlesticks (‘coming home’) and commemorate
  Tony Tomlin’s dedication/contribution to the Morris.  
  However such a decision and possible choice of date will have
  to be determined at the side’s AGM on 22nd September.\n\n

  We will be holding a special meeting of Morris sides to
  celebrate our 70th Anniversary.  The format will be like our
  previous Ales and Ring Meetings and will be based in the
  village of Wrotham in Kent.\n\n
  There will be indoor camping in the sports pavilion and outdoor
  tents and camper vans at the village school.  Showers are
  provided in the sports pavilion.  There will be a designated
  room with shower for women performers.  The Rose and Crown pub
  will provide the Friday supper and the Saturday and Sunday
  breakfast\, and there will be a feast laid on in the Village
  Hall on Saturday after we return from the tour.  During the
  feast the Sephton Candlesticks will be formally returned to the
  Hartley Morris Men.\n\n
  We will travel in a vintage bus to a local brewery\, town
  centre and village pubs and will also visit a Hop Festival.
   There will be plenty of opportunities for dancing and mass
  displays.\n\n
  Costs depend on numbers attending but will not be greater than
  £80.\n\n
  We appreciate that you may have already made plans for the
  whole of this season\, but if your side is still looking for
  something to do in September then please communicate your
