DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends\n\n
  The 10th 11th and 12th of June 2022 will be the 95th time
  Thaxted  have hosted a weekend of dancing* and 100 years since
  Letchworth first came to dance in Thaxted. We hope to offer
  informal dancing on the Friday night\, coach and or walking
  tours of the beautiful local area with pub stops\, dancing and
  a lunch\, followed by the procession with massed dancing before
  the feast.   more dancing and the evening will close with the
  haunting and beautiful Abbots Bromley Horn dance by the Thaxted
  s Morris men.  On Sunday another procession up the hill for
  the church service ( for the spiritually inclined) and yet more
  dancing until a barbecue lunch. A relaxing Sunday afternoon in
  the Margaret street gardens social dancing and mingling for all
  that want to stay the afternoon.\n\n
  We at Thaxted Morris men would like to invite applications by
  the 1st of April from all Ring sides regardless of the gender
  profile of dancers or musicians. All will be welcome. This is a
  change from the past as all clubs change and evolve. We believe
  our festival should be fully inclusive and we would appreciate
  your support on this matter. Numbers will be limited so please
  make your application early to avoid disappointment: contact me

  Outdoor and indoor camping will be offered ( indoor camping may
  be mixed) cost will be less than £95 for the full monty\, a
  day rate for Saturday will be arranged at a later date.\n\n
  With the present climate of covid risk and regulations we
  reserve the right to change the event at short notice if we
  feel it is necessary for safety.\n\n
