DESCRIPTION:Saddleworth Morris Men would like to invite your side to attend
  the Rushcart in 2017 from Friday 25th August to Sunday 27th
  August.  This IS the bank holiday weekend – so you get to
  stay for the Sunday evening fun too.\n\n
  Like this year\, we can’t promise sunshine\, but we can
  promise a good weekend at minimal cost\, continuing a tradition
  long associated with North West Morris\, in its traditional
  setting.\n\n
  The ‘Cart is pulled around the villages of Saddleworth on the
  Saturday with dance spots throughout the day.  On Sunday the
  ‘Cart is pulled up to Saddleworth Church for the spreading of
  rushes on the Church floor\, with dancing and competitions
  throughout the afternoon (Gurning\, Wrestling\, Worst Singer
  and Clog Stepping etc.).\n\n
  As in previous years\, both indoor and outdoor camping will be
  available at a minimal cost over the weekend.  A fact sheet
  will be sent out in the New Year to all sides who accept our
  invitation.\n\n
  Please return the attached response sheet\, either by post or
  e-mail to the addresses below.  If you reply by e-mail I will
  assume this is your preference\, but post is not a problem! 
  If you cannot come in 2017 but would like to receive invites in
  the future\, please reply accordingly in order to maintain your
  place on the future invite list.\n\n
  For the avoidance of doubt\, we welcome sides with female
  musicians at Rushcart as in previous years.\n\n
