Lucie Dutton recently passed some information to us - perhaps someone who was there could add some detail, or memories of her father?
"My Dad was Robert (Bob) Dutton and he drew the cover for the Ludlow Morris Ring programme in 1959.
And if you look closely at the map he designed of Ludlow in 1966, you will see that Morris Dancers are "sometimes seen in streets". Dad was a member of Ludlow Morris in 1950, and of the Liverpool side in 1953.
He was an artist, mostly in watercolours, and taught design at Tameside College from the late 1960s until he retired. We lived in Stalybridge when I was growing up and, although he didn't have links with the Saddleworth side, I am sure he would be pleased to know that you are interested in these pictures. Dad died in 2013 and I inherited a few items relating to his interest in Morris Dancing."
